Trout cave is a large horizontal cave located in Pendleton County, WV (Near Franklin). It is closed almost all year to protect both hibernating and summer bat colonies. This will be a night trip (in at 11 PM and out at 5 AM) when the bats are out of the cave foraging. The cave is horizontal and has little mud. This will be a rare opportunity to see this interesting cave.
